Senior Finance Assistant

Title: Senior Finance Assistant Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time (part time also considered) Location: Ullapool accommodation may be available Please enquire for salary details Profile: Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Assistant to join a small and friendly Finance Team on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be based in the Ullapool office with the possibility of some hybrid working. Duties include: Manage the Finance mailbox ensuring all incoming emails are dealt with in a timely manner, liaising with suppliers and colleagues to resolve queries. Process all incoming invoices from suppliers, ensuring approvals and coding are correct. Ensure all invoices are posted in the accounts within month end deadlines. Process invoices paid by direct debit. Process expense claims and credit card transactions. Reconcile supplier statements. Weekly supplier payments. Process daily bank transaction s. Person Specification: Previous experience in a finance role is essential. Accounting qualification desirable but not essential. IT literate with advanced excel skills. Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills. Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail. Adaptable with a willingness to learn. Ability to prioritise tasks.
