Transport Planner

Time Appointments are excited to be working on behalf of a growing and reputable company who are looking to appoint a Transport Planner. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the business. This is not an opportunity to miss and if you are a dedicated and motivated individual this could be the role for you. Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Updating and maintaining computer system to ensure all administrative tasks are completed * Ensure orders and reports are completed within an efficient timeframe * Briefing and de-briefing drivers daily to ensure they are informed * Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure * Have an understanding and working knowledge of the UK legislations Skills & Experience Required: * Previous experience within a Logistics * Good understanding of UK legislation or a desire to learn * Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills * Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation * Proven track record to input data efficiently and effectively Due to the nature of the role, the business operates Monday to Friday, from 6:00am to 6:00pm. The successful applicant must therefore be flexible and willing to work within these hours.
