Job Description
HVAC Maintenance Engineer – East London University – Covering 3 sites only - up to 48KI am currently representing an excellent building services company who need a Semi Static HVAC & Refrigeration maintenance engineer to be operating across 3 campuses at a University in East London.As a company they are over 150 strong as a group with a mixture of engineers within different disciplines from heating, cooling, mechanical, electrical & General M&E maintenance.Site cluster:All sites are within 1 square mile of each other within Mile End/Whitechapel in London.In this role You will be looking after a cluster of sites carrying out visual checks, maintenance, service and reactive works on: VRV’s, VRF’s, Splits, Multi Splits, AHU’s, Chillers (if experienced with these)Ideal Candidate: Must be NVQ Level 2 Qualified in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration with FGAS 2709 Cat 1 certified as a minimum standard. Minium 5 years post qualification experienceFull Clean Driving LicenseMust pass an enhanced DBS background checkAir Conditioning bias with refrigeration skillsProven Diagnostic and repair skillsMust be physically fit as the role is very active with work on roof top equipment and working from step laddersLive within a reasonable commute to Mile End / Stratford areaDesirable: Chiller experiencePASMA QualifiedIPAF QualifiedACRIB QualifiedFormal diagnostic or manufacturers training10 years post qualification experiencePackage40 to 48k Basic (depending on experience)Van, fuel card, uniform, tablet, phone and training providedMonday to Friday 40 hours per week with half hour lunchPrivate use of van allowedOvertime availableCall Out mandatory on 1 in 6 / 7 basis and with 200 per week retainer and paid x1.5 door to doorSSP28 days holiday per annumSpecialist tools provided by clientCompany Pension Scheme in place6-month probationPay weekly or monthly to suitImmediate start / will wait for right candidate. xwzovoh Long term secure position for right candidate with training and development opportunitiesIf you feel this is something that could be of interest or would like to find out more, please send me your up-to-date CV or contact me to discuss.
