BMW Technical Trainer - Automotive
Salary - £40,170 + company car or £4,200 car allowance
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technical Trainer / Automotive Instructor to join the team at the BMW Group Academy in Wokefield Park.
This is an exciting opportunity for either:
- An experienced Technical Trainer or Automotive Instructor, or
Working within a world-class training environment, you will deliver high-quality automotive technical training programmes to technicians across the BMW retailer network.
Your role will be to support the development of automotive professionals through engaging classroom and workshop-based learning, helping technicians develop their knowledge across the latest vehicle technologies, diagnostics, electrification, and manufacturer systems.
You will play a key role in ensuring technicians receive the skills, knowledge, and technical competence required to maintain the high standards expected across the BMW retailer network.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical automotive expertise with coaching, mentoring, and professional development, helping shape the next generation of skilled automotive technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging automotive technical training programmes in both classroom and workshop environments.
Assessment & Development
- Conduct technical competency assessments for automotive technicians.
Candidate Profile
We welcome applications from both experienced trainers and highly skilled automotive technicians who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and developing others.
Essential Experience
- Strong background working within the automotive industry.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience delivering technical training or automotive instruction.
Full training and teaching qualifications can be supported for candidates transitioning from industry.
