Senior C&I Designer

PD&MS Group are now looking for a Senior C&I Designer to join our team in Aberdeen or Glasgow on a full-time, on-going contract basis. We offer a flexible hybrid working model where 2 days per week can be worked remotely.

Key Duties

• Creates and checks engineering designs
• Responsible for ensuring designs meet project requirements
• Input to project plans
• Identify areas of concern during any project or study
• Produce cost-effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value
• Ability to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
• Undertake surveys, both onshore and offshore (not essential)

About You

Our ideal candidate will enjoy team working, will be customer and quality focused, can use their own initiative and will be responsive to our business and client needs. You should also enjoy coaching and mentoring others.

We’d like you to have a HND in a relevant subject and previous experience in detail design with an awareness of other disciplines. You need to be competent in 2D AutoCAD, Raster CAD, MicroStation and Microsoft Office. Appreciation of 3D Model packages such as Navisworks would be beneficial.
