We’re looking for a Technical Customer Support & Repairs Technician to join our team—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech environment and enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges.

About the Role

In this dynamic role, you’ll combine technical support expertise with hands-on repair and testing , becoming a key link between our customers, engineering teams, and manufacturing operations.

You’ll work with advanced technologies across embedded systems, RF modules, avionics, and rugged electronics , helping customers resolve issues while ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability.

What You’ll Be Doing

Technical Customer Support

  • Provide first- and second-line support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
  • Diagnose hardware and system-level issues across complex electronic platforms
  • Guide customers through troubleshooting, configuration, and product use
  • Document technical cases and resolutions in CRM systems

Repairs & Testing (Hands-On)

  • Perform failure analysis, component-level troubleshooting, and electronic repairs
  • Conduct functional testing using oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, and other test equipment
  • Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and test procedures
  • Maintain detailed repair records, logs, and data

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve complex issues
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Support new product introductions with repair processes and documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve diagnostics, tools, and service delivery

Customer Engagement

  • Deliver clear, professional, and empathetic communication to customers
  • Provide updates on repair status and technical investigations
  • Support occasional on-site visits, audits, or field service activities

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Technical qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • Strong understanding of digital/analog electronics and system diagnostics
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset

Desirable:

  • Experience in aerospace, defence, or industrial electronics
  • Knowledge of embedded systems, RF technology, PCB/PCBA
  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM tools (Oracle, Salesforce, JIRA)
  • Soldering certifications (e.g., IPC standards)
  • Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
