Construction Solicitor - Legal 500 Firm - Southampton

A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Hampshire is seeking a Construction Solicitor to join its respected and expanding team. The Role

You will advise a wide range of clients including developers, contractors, consultants, and public sector bodies across both contentious and/or non-contentious construction work depending on your experience. Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, appointments, warranties, and associated documentation

\t

Advising on JCT, NEC and other industry-standard forms

\t

Managing construction disputes including adjudication, arbitration, and litigation

\t

Providing strategic advice on risk management, contract performance, and project issues

\t

Supporting senior colleagues on larger construction projects

\t

Contributing to business development and maintaining long-term client relationships

About You

• 
  \t
• Qualified Solicitor (NQ-5 PQE or above considered) with experience in construction law

\t

Experience in non-contentious, contentious, or mixed construction matters

\t

Strong technical knowledge and excellent drafting skills

\t

Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain client relationships

\t

Ambitious, commercially aware, and committed to professional development
