Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor required in Central London GVR Solutions are currently representing a very well-established main contractor, based in Central London, who due to positive progression are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. As a main contractor they primarily work with in the heritage and listed building sectors providing refurbishment and restoration packages. The ideal candidate will ideally come from a main contractor out of the restoration sector as the majority of the projects are challenging and complex refurbishment schemes. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will: * Be involved in managing the commercial reports and advice to the management team * Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies * Ensure the commercial targets are achieved including project and programme cost, quality and time. * Delegate work where necessary and liaise with team on project progress * Factor in health and safety regulations * Managing the costs of the project, budgeting and cash flows * Carry out measurement for valuations * Analyse progress and reporting * Identify Opportunities and risks * Attend post tender and pre-contract meetings. * Prepare summary reports for the client and other stakeholders The Senior Quantity Surveyor must have/be: * A detailed knowledge of Quantity Surveying working for a main contractor * Must be able to manage multiple projects at any given time * Ideally 6 years experience working for a main contractor * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent * Excellent analytical skills to make informed, balanced business decision and reporting * Self-sufficient * Proven track record of delivering construction projects * Excellent communication and oral skills * Comfortable liaising with Clients and Senior Management * Stable employment history * High-performing individual * Versatile * Excellent time keeping skills If you meet all the Senior Quantity Surveyor requirements above, then please get in touch
