Kitchen Assistant

Temporary Ongoing Role £12.71 per hour We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join a busykitchen and staff restaurant team on a temporary ongoing basis in Dartford. This role would suit someone who is reliable, hardworking, and able to work well in a busy environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene. Duties will include: Keeping kitchen, food preparation, and serving areas clean and tidy Washing dishes, cutlery, and kitchen equipment Cleaning floors, surfaces, and kitchen areas Serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks to staff Using the till when required Assisting with basic food preparation Receiving and storing food deliveries correctly Carrying out temperature and quality checks on deliveries Disposing of waste and recycling appropriately Supporting other kitchen team members when required Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all timesThe ideal candidate will have: Previous kitchen, catering, or food service experience A positive and flexible attitude Good teamwork and communication skills The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standardsDesirable: Food Hygiene CertificateImmediate start available for the right candidate.
