Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of QC Analysts, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
  • Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring testing activities are completed on time and to the required standards.
  • Provide coaching, training, and technical support to team members.
  • Review and approve analytical data, investigations, deviations, CAPAs, SOPs, and change controls.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, data integrity, and company quality standards.
  • Support laboratory investigations and problem-solving activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, QA, and other departments to support manufacturing objectives.
  • Contribute to audit readiness and maintain inspection standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising a QC team within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of GMP, GLP, and laboratory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with analytical testing techniques and laboratory systems.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
