Lansdown Park Academy is looking for an inspirational and resilient Class Teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in an alternative provision setting, supporting young people to re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes.
You'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality, tailored curriculum, helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally, and preparing them for their next steps.
About the School
Lansdown Park Academy is a Pupil Referral Unit / Early Intervention provision in South Bristol, working with pupils from KS1-KS3 who require additional behavioural support.
The school offers:

An outreach programme, supporting students in mainstream schoolsPart of the Cabot Learning Federation, the academy is committed to improving life chances through high standards, collaboration and inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across relevant key stages
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students, including SEND, pupil premium and vulnerable learners
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
Support pupils' progress, wellbeing and behaviour
Contribute to the wider school life and enrichment opportunities
Track, assess and report on student progress
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Has experience delivering high-quality teaching across key stages
Can confidently support students with additional needs and behavioural challenges
Is a strong communicator who can build positive relationships
Is adaptable, motivated and committed to improving outcomes for young people
Is able to travel between sites (driver required)👉 Note: This role is not suitable for ECTs.
