📍 Location: Newbridge
🕒 Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
📄 Contract: Temp to Perm
💰 Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Are you an organised and proactive individual who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We're currently recruiting for a Stores Person to join a friendly, close-knit, and fast-paced team based in Newbridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a role where you'll play a vital part in supporting daily operations and ensuring stock and orders are managed efficiently from start to finish.
🚀 The Role
As a Stores Person, you'll be at the heart of the business, ensuring that stock, orders, and deliveries are handled accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on and varied role where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities will include:
Accurately inputting orders and maintaining data systems
Expediting stock and orders to ensure timely distribution
Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries
Building strong relationships by liaising with internal departments
Communicating with suppliers via phone and email to manage orders and resolve queries
Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels
Supporting overall stores operations to ensure efficiency and organisation at all times✅ What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or stock control environment
Strong computer literacy and confidence using systems and data entry tools
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
