Yardman/Labourer

The Role Pace Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a Yardman / Labourer to support operations within a busy rail and civil engineering environment. This role is ideal for someone hands-on, reliable, and experienced working within construction, civils, rail, or industrial yard environments. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and organised yard, supporting deliveries, loading/unloading materials, and assisting site teams and plant operations as required. Key Responsibilities * Keeping the yard clean, organised, and operational * Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment * Assisting with stock control and material management * Supporting plant operators and site teams * Carrying out general labouring duties * Moving equipment and materials safely around the yard/site * Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times * Supporting vehicle checks and general upkeep of welfare areas Requirements * Previous experience as a Labourer or Yard Operative * CSCS Card preferred * PTS advantageous but NOT a must (for rail environments) * Forklift or Telehandler tickets advantageous but not a MUST * Good attitude and willingness to work as part of a team * Full UK Driving Licence preferred What We Offer * Long-term opportunities * Weekly pay * Opportunity to work on major rail and civils projects * Overtime and weekend work available * Supportive team environment 📩 To apply, send your CV or contact Pace Infrastructure today
