Cleaner

Overview Experienced cleaning operatives required to work across a number of Sheffield City Council sites across the city. Responsibilities * To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the area/sites allocated. * To use the appropriate equipment and materials to ensure the job is done effectively in line with safe systems of work, risk assessments and manufacturers guidance. * Cleaning duties will include cleaning, washing, sweeping, scrubbing, sanitising, shampooing, vacuum cleaning, polishing and dusting of designated areas as required by the site or service. * Clearing tables of food waste and crockery in food halls * To clean public spaces and meeting rooms, loading and unloading dishwashers and or pot washing small volumes and storing within a designated location. Hours & Pay * Contracted hours: 37hrs per week, working 5 days out of 7 as per service demands. Successful candidates will be inform of their working duties and hours one week in advance, but some flexibility is required to cover for absence at short notice. * Whilst the working times have been set between 7am and 3pm, operatives may need to be part of a rota working 11.30 - 19.00. * Starting pay rate £13.45 pH * Weekly pay whilst through agency
