Job Title: Maths Teacher Location: Paddock Wood Salary: £150 per day Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time Are you a dedicated Maths Teacher with a passion for inspiring students to develop confidence in mathematics? GSL Education are currently seeking committed and enthusiastic Maths Teachers to work in schools in Paddock Wood. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be delivering high-quality Mathematics lessons across key stages, supporting students according to the curriculum and syllabus, and helping them build strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will create a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to excel academically. Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum Support students according to the curriculum and syllabus Assess, monitor, and track student progress and attainment Prepare lesson plans, resources, and assessments Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment Encourage students to develop confidence and enthusiasm for Mathematics Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school staff Maths Teacher Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related subject Previous experience teaching Mathematics within schools is desirable Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Excellent communication and organisational abilities Passion for Mathematics education and student achievement An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing a new application.
