Design Manager

Design Manager – High Rise Project Location: London Rate: DOE Duration: Long-term freelance Start: Immediate We are currently recruiting for an experienced Design Manager to join a major high-rise construction project in London, with a total project value of £60m+. Responsibilities: * Manage and coordinate the design process from pre-construction through to delivery * Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants and specialist subcontractors * Review and manage design information, drawings and technical submissions * Ensure design packages are delivered in line with the construction programme * Manage RFIs, design changes and technical queries * Work closely with the Project Manager and wider site team * Ensure design solutions are practical, buildable and commercially viable * Monitor design progress and identify potential issues or delays * Attend design and coordination meetings * Manage multiple design packages and deadlines * Ensure design information complies with project requirements and relevant standards Requirements: * Previous experience working as a Design Manager on major construction projects * High-rise / large-scale residential experience highly advantageous * Strong technical and design coordination background * Main contractor or major subcontractor experience * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Ability to manage multiple packages and deadlines * Relevant construction/design qualifications The Opportunity: * £60m+ high-rise project in London * Long-term freelance position * Immediate start available * Competitive day rate DOE * Opportunity to work on a major London development To Apply: If you are an experienced Design Manager available for an immediate start and interested in this opportunity, please apply with your up-to-date CV or contact us directly for further information
