This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef ready to take the next step or an established Senior Sous Chef looking for a new challenge within a dynamic, fast-paced business where fresh ingredients, quality standards, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
The Role As Senior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring consistently high standards of food preparation, presentation, cleanliness, and service.
You will play a key leadership role, driving performance during busy service periods while maintaining a positive and professional kitchen culture.
Key Responsibilities Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen.
Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen brigade.
Ensure exceptional food quality and consistency across every service.
Manage kitchen operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.
Train and mentor junior chefs to support their development.
Take ownership of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fresh food kitchen.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Experience working in a high-volume environment without compromising quality.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
A hands-on approach and a passion for delivering outstanding food.
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance standards.
Calm under pressure with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
