Panel Wirer

CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for a Panel Wirer on behalf of our ever-growing client based in Bradford.

Duties Include:

● Wire electrical control panels according to circuit diagrams and specifications.

● Fit and terminate cabling, components and control gear within panels.

● Test completed panels for correct function and safety before installation.

● Work closely with the Electrical Supervisor and Design Engineer to resolve any wiring or specification queries.

● Maintain accurate records of work completed and any panel modifications.

● Follow health & safety procedures at all times when working with electrical systems.

● Support fault-finding and rework on panels as needed.

Qualifications

● A relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in electrical installation, panel building or a related discipline; the Company is flexible on level.

● Proven experience wiring electrical control panels, ideally in an industrial or machinery environment.

● Good knowledge of electrical wiring standards, circuit diagrams and safety requirements.

● Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to wiring and testing.

● Good communication skills, able to raise queries or issues clearly with supervisors and engineers.

● Full-time role.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8am to 4:30pm

Friday: 8am - 3:30pm

Pay: £14.50
