Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in London)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + £10,000 - £15,000 OTE
Reports To: Head of Talent & Commercial Training

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager, or a high-performing Senior Sales professional ready to step into management, to lead and grow a successful CPD and Short Courses division.
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing sales strategy, managing and coaching the sales team, improving conversion rates and ensuring an outstanding customer experience from enquiry through to enrolment.
The role combines leadership, commercial strategy, business development and stakeholder engagement, working closely with Marketing and senior leaders to support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
Set and monitor revenue, activity and conversion targets.
Recruit, onboard and coach sales team members.
Drive growth across both B2B and self-funded learner markets.
Produce accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
Work with Marketing to maximise lead generation and campaign performance.
Develop employer partnerships and identify new commercial opportunities.
Champion CRM best practice and data-driven decision making.
Continuously improve the customer journey and learner experience.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
Proven experience managing sales teams and driving performance.
Strong track record of selling training, apprenticeships or professional development programmes.
Experience developing sales strategies and working alongside marketing teams.
Demonstrable success in growing revenue and improving sales performance.
Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills.Desirable:
Experience within education, training, apprenticeships or work-based learning.
Knowledge of CIPD, Digital, IT or Professional Skills programmes.
Experience building or scaling sales functions.What's in it for You?
