Vice President, Legal – Prime Services & Solutions (Derivatives) | London

A leading global bank with a top-tier Corporate & Institutional Banking franchise is seeking a Vice President to join their Prime Services & Solutions (PS&S) practice within the Derivatives Legal platform. This is a high-visibility role advising Global Markets on prime services, FX prime brokerage, derivatives clearing, and securities lending.

The Role

You'll provide specialist legal and regulatory advice to the PS&S business, with a particular focus on the clearing of OTC and commodities underliers for corporate clients. You'll draft and negotiate English law derivatives clearing agreements, collateral structures and guarantees, represent Legal at internal committees (TAC/NAC), manage legal projects, and mentor junior team members.

What We're Looking For

• English law qualified lawyer (or equivalent regulatory professional qualification)
• Expert knowledge of PS&S, including OTC and exchange-traded cleared derivatives
• Strong understanding and use of FIA agreements as well knowledge of the of the rule books around netting
• Experience of commodities would be advantageous and is desired but those without it will still be considered
