The Role you will be doing; * The person will largely operate independently, with support set out for holidays, absence and general cover. * Core responsibility: Manage inbound supplier deliveries, predominantly from Egypt, through to the Hartlepool site. * Shipment management: Take ownership of planned shipments and provide weekly updates / meetings with Heads of Departments. * Logistics: Liaise with shipping and transport providers. * Commercial responsibility: Ensure shipping rates are measured and agreed using FOB (Free on Board) Incoterms. About You; * Previous experience in international shipping / freight forwarding, import logistics, supplier coordination is essential * Egypt / Middle East trade would be welcomed, although this is not essential. * Highly organised and able to work at your own initiative * Proactive * Strong communicator
