HGV Class 1 Night Driver – Manchester Location: Manchester Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Ongoing Agency Work Shift Pattern: Night Shifts Pay Rate: £17.00 – £21.00 per hour Immediate Starts Available About the Role We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing work based in Manchester. This role offers consistent night shifts, competitive pay rates, and the opportunity to work with a professional and supportive transport team. The role will involve trunking, depot-to-depot deliveries, and RDC work across the UK with minimal handball involved. Duties Include Completing Class 1 night trunk runs Depot-to-depot and RDC deliveries Carrying out vehicle safety checks Maintaining accurate paperwork and tachograph records Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time Following all driver hours and WTD regulations Driver Requirements Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence Valid CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 experience preferred Good communication and timekeeping skills No major DR, DD, or IN endorsements What We Offer £17–£21 per hour Weekly pay Regular ongoing night work Flexible shift patterns available Modern fleet and well-maintained vehicles Supportive transport team Free onsite parking Shift Information Night shifts available 7 days a week Typical start times between 17:00 – 21:00 Average 10–12 hour shifts
