The Role As a Social Worker within the Child Protection & Court Team, you will: * Manage a varied caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans, Public Law Outline (PLO), and care proceedings. * Complete robust assessments and develop outcome-focused care plans. * Undertake direct work with children and families to reduce risk and promote positive change. * Prepare high-quality court statements, care plans, and reports within statutory timescales. * Work closely with legal services, partner agencies, and the judiciary throughout court proceedings. * Attend child protection conferences, looked after reviews, legal planning meetings, and court hearings. * Ensure children’s voices remain central to all assessment, planning, and decision-making.
