Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum

Harris Lord Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join an established and busy distribution business.

This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, check and store incoming deliveries.

Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.

Safely operate counterbalance and Bendi forklifts.

Handle and store products in accordance with safety procedures.

Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory checks.

Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.

Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Experience working with chemicals, hazardous materials or dangerous goods is essential.

Good understanding of safe storage, handling procedures and emergency protocols.

Valid counterbalance forklift certificate.

Proven practical experience operating Bendi forklifts.

Strong attention to detail and a reliable, safety-conscious approach.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
