We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in supervising kitchen staff and managing daily food preparation activities
Oversee food production to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
Lead by example in food preparation, cooking, and plating techniques
Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and support staff training and development
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen
Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and minimise waste
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Contribute to menu planning and development of new dishes to enhance customer experience
Support during busy periods by actively participating in cooking and serving as needed
Requirements
Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and preparation
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment xehkeey
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is essential
Proficiency in cooking techniques across various cuisines and styles
Experience in food serving and customer interaction is desirable
Leadership qualities combined with organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively
A passion for culinary excellence and continuous learning within the hospitality sector

Pay: £17.00-£19.00 per hour
