Project Manager - Pensions & Operations Change Delivery

Our client is seeking an experienced Pensions Operations Project Manager to lead high-profile transformation initiatives, working closely with stakeholders, third-party administrators, and operational teams to deliver meaningful business outcomes. You'll help shape operational excellence while working in a highly collaborative and regulated financial services environment. Job Title: Project Manager - Pensions Operations  Job Type: Permanent Location: Central London Working Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days on-site per week  Salary: Up to £115,000 + bonus & benefits  The Role: Lead the full project delivery lifecycle from initiation through to implementation and handover. Manage key stakeholder relationships, ensuring expectations are understood and effectively managed.  Provide regular project status reporting and governance updates to the PMO. Define project objectives, target operating models, and delivery outcomes.  Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues when required. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, resource requirements, and delivery schedules. Coordinate internal teams and external vendors across multiple workstreams to ensure successful delivery.  What We're Looking For: Proven experience managing complex projects within Pensions Operations environments.  Knowledge of the UK regulatory landscape, including PRA and FCA requirements. Strong understanding of customer operations and operational change delivery.  Experience delivering projects involving operations or pensions-related applications and technology platforms. Knowledge of Finance Operating Models and business transformation initiatives. Recognised project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and leadership skills. The ability to manage competing priorities, resources, and deadlines within a complex environment.
