About the role
Our client, a leading specialist in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled and driven Regional Sales Director - Naval to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence and drive sales within a critical industry, with a focus on building strong client relationships and securing new business.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage directly with government clients and major defence primes
Develop business opportunities with system integrators and shipyards
Oversee new business acquisition and capture key programmes
Manage complex sales processes effectively
Provide account management support as needed depending on territory
Job Requirements:
Demonstrable track record of sales success or strong potential in a similar role
Understanding of naval programmes and the maritime defence environment
Experience in shipbuilding programmes and defence acquisition cycles
Proficiency in managing complex sales processes
Ideally based within 1-1.5 hours of the office location, though location flexibility is considered
Territory:
This is an individual contributor position with a flexible territory, potential remits may include:
