Accounts Administrator

Accounts Administrator – Burscough – 6 Month FTC – to start ASAP - £12.71p/h depending on experience We are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join a busy finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with an immediate start available. Our client is a leading engineering specialist, delivering complex engineering solutions across major construction and infrastructure projects. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking for an organised and detail-focused Accounts Administrator to join an established team of around 10 people. The Role Your responsibilities will include: * Checking and reconciling supplier statements using VLOOKUPs on Excel — full training provided * Logging a high volume of supplier invoices onto the invoice register using the Harmony system * Inputting goods delivery tickets * Accurate data entry and maintaining up-to-date accounts records * General administrative support to the accounts team About You We are looking for someone who: * Has excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills * Is confident using Microsoft Excel * Is comfortable working with high volumes of information * Has an interest in accounts and finance * Is organised, reliable and keen to learn * Previous accounts or administration experience is desirable but not essential Benefits * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays * Pension scheme * Healthcare scheme * Free parking * Cycle to Work scheme If you're looking for a step into Accounts, have knowledge of Excel are available to start at short notice, we'd love to hear from you.
