About the role

Location: South East London (four days based in the office, one day from home)

Start Date: 5th October 2026

Duration: Temporary contract – end date TBC

Pay: £13.85 per hour plus holiday pay (£15.52 per hour total), paid weekly via PAYE (agency payroll)

Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week. Weekday shifts will rotate between 10.30am–7pm and 1pm–9.30pm.

Weekend Pattern: During peak, candidates will either work 1 in 2 weekends (8am–4.30pm or 10am–6.30pm shifts) or work a fixed 5-day pattern of Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday.

We are recruiting on behalf of a luxury retailer for Customer Care Consultants to support peak trading across the winter sale period. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced, fashion-focused environment, delivering exceptional service to a high-end international customer base.

The role will be based four days a week in the South East London head office, with one day working from home.


Induction

The four-week induction will begin on Monday 5th October 2026.

  • Week 1: 5 days in the office
  • Weeks 2–4: 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home (Friday)
  • Induction hours: 9am–5.30pm
  • Weekends: No weekend shifts during the induction period


The Role

You will be responsible for delivering a premium customer experience while supporting order processing, returns and sales through multiple communication channels. You will act as a brand ambassador, combining customer service excellence with commercial awareness.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process outbound orders and customer returns accurately
  • Deliver outstanding customer service across all interactions using various software
  • Build strong product knowledge to confidently advise customers on purchases
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell products to meet performance targets
  • Meet and exceed individual and team KPIs across quality, productivity and sales
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer queries efficiently
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact order delivery
  • Manage and categorise customer queries using internal systems
  • Escalate complex issues or complaints when required
  • Effectively prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment


Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven customer service experience, ideally within retail or e-commerce
  • Strong interest in fashion and luxury brands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive xwzovoh problem-solving ability with a can-do attitude
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Good IT and analytical skills
  • Flexible approach to working different shift patterns
  • Team-oriented with a strong individual work ethic
  • Self-motivated and confident in a customer-facing role

  • You must be available to start on 5th October 2026 and attend the full four-week induction
  • You must be able to commit to four days per week in the South East London office
