Design Engineer

Experienced specifically in the Design, and development & manufacture of Ceramic core dies, Wax pattern dies Mould tools and associated tooling fixtures for the investment Casting Industries Aerospace and IGT sectors

Role
Experienced in Producing 3D C AD ad models using Solidworks (other formats considered) , detailed engineering manufacturing drawings and technical presentations.
Generating bills of material & technical procurement
Creating and managing change requests where required
Active involvement with Continuous Improvement initiatives
Active participation in internal and external face to face lia i son and electronic meetings
Active participation in the development of tooling quotation s packages .
Experience:
Ideally, at least 5 years experience a proven industry experience in the subject role or a similar design role ideally 3-5 years experience on a range of Ceramic Core dies Wax pattern dies and associated tooling. i n mould tool design
Educated to HNC/Degree level in a suitable technical subject or a Time served apprentice preferably in the toolmaking industry
Proven track record of delivering effective engineering solutions within cost , time and quality requirements. xwzovoh
Requisites
Highly motivated, Pro-active, Self-starter
3D CAD experience such as solid works is essential in Solidworks
Able to work as an individual or part of a team to tight deadline targets
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem - solving skills attention to detail and accuracy
Good IT literacy with MS office skills
