Salary: £29,000 - £32,600
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Inspector to join a small, experienced team working on aerospace components and avionics systems.
This is a great opportunity if you enjoy a mix of practical inspection work and quality documentation and want to be part of a business where your sign-off directly impacts the safety and performance of aircraft equipment.
What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out inspection of aerospace components (new build and repairs)
Working with avionics equipment such as dials, displays, and altitude indicators
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical data
Using measuring equipment to ensure parts meet required standards
Completing inspection reports and quality documentation
Supporting customer and supplier inspections where required
Following strict quality and regulatory standards (e.g. aerospace xwzovoh compliance)
What We're Looking For
Experience in inspection (mechanical or electrical)
Background in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
Comfortable with paperwork and documentation
