Conservation Structural Engineer York £50k-£55k plus benefits Do you have a strong interest in building conservation and would like to join a firm where you can focus on projects that include built heritage and refurbishment? Our client is seeking a talented individual who will join their structural team to focus on conservation projects, working on Listed Buildings and ancient monuments. They need someone who has at least 2 years' UK post graduate experience, which doesn't have to be within conservation as full training will be given. Strong analytical and report writing skills are vital, and you should have an interest in carrying out structural surveys which could include derelict buildings, so risk assessment will form part of your remit. You will meet clients and construction professionals, so should have confident communications skills. Most important is a willingness to learn as you demonstrate self-motivation, and an enthusiasm for working in this unique sector.
