SENIOR ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER
NORTHAMPTON

Here at GXO, we are looking a Senior Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Northampton. The ideal candidate will have experience within logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or multi-cost environments. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be a confident communicator able to partner with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day plus 0.5 unpaid break

What youll do on a typical day:
Produce timely and accurate weekly and monthly management accounts for multiple customers and operational cost centres
Lead variance analysis and commentary, clearly explaining performance drivers and highlighting risks and opportunities
Support month-end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations , and KPI reporting
Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling outlooks
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Part-qualified or fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, or actively studying toward qualification
Experience within a multi-user warehousing or 3PL environment
Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Proactive, curious, and commercially minded
High proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP/finance systems
