About the role

We're looking for a hands-on Application Engineer to take ownership of a portfolio of business applications within a small, close-knit Business Systems team of 15. This isn't a seat at the end of a reporting queue - you'll own the full pipeline, from SQL engineering and data warehouse design through to Power BI development and Azure Data Factory integrations, working as a technical product owner for the applications in your care.

What you'll be doing

• Writing and maintaining stored procedures, functions and complex SQL within a data warehousing context (Kimball or Inmon), not just ad hoc querying
• Building DAX-driven Power BI semantic models and producing paginated/SSRS-style reports — not solely dashboard design
• Delivering Azure Data Factory integrations (REST and/or OData) in a live production environment
