M&E Quantity Surveyor Essex / Hybrid Working £ Negotiable + Package I’m working with a growing and well-established M&E contractor based in Essex who are looking to appoint an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to support a strong pipeline of commercial and healthcare projects across London and the South East. This is a flexible role offering a mix of site visits, office working and the ability to work from home when required. The business delivers mechanical and electrical packages across a range of projects and is looking for someone commercially sharp, organised and confident managing costs from pre-construction through to final account. The Role: Manage the commercial aspects of M&E projects from award through to final account Procurement and management of subcontractor packages Cost reporting, valuations, variations and cash flow forecasting Liaise closely with Project Managers, clients and subcontractors Support with contract administration and commercial strategy Attend site meetings and provide commercial support to operational teams Identify and manage commercial risk across projects Work across multiple live projects within commercial and healthcare sectors Requirements: Experience working as an M&E QS or Mechanical/Electrical QS Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical packages Experience within residential projects Good contractual and commercial knowledge Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Strong communication and client-facing skills Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer: Hybrid working flexibility Mix of site, head office and home working Strong project pipeline and stable business Supportive team environment Clear progression opportunities Competitive salary and package If you’re an M&E Quantity Surveyor looking for more flexibility, better projects and a long-term opportunity with a growing contractor, apply now or get in touch for a confidential chat
