ResponsivePersonnelarepleasedtobeworkingwithaleadingtransport&logisticsproviderwhoarelookingforClass1Driversduetobusinessgrowth.
AsaClass1Driver,youwillbeworkingalongsidethetransportteamtoensurethesafedeliveryofgoodstovariousdepotslocally.
Workinghours: MondaytoFriday,withshifttimesstartingat04:30-06:30ondays,and18:00-19:00starttimesonnights.
Salary: £18.00perhourondays.£21.00perhouronnights.
Your Class 1 Driver responsibilitieswillinclude(butnotlimitedto):
Completingfullvehiclecheckspriortoleavingtheyard,ensuringanydefectsarereportedimmediately.
Deliveryofcagedorpalletisedgoodstodepots(somedeliverieswillrequireunloadingusinganelectricpallettruck,howevermostdeliverieswillbeforkedoff).
Followingmanualhandlingprocedures.
UseofhandheldPDAscannerdevicestoscangoodson/offthevehicle.
EnsuringstrictcompliancewithallWorkingTimeDirectivepolicies.
Class 1 Driver Experience&Qualifications:
MustholdafullUKcategoryC+Edrivinglicence,CPCcardandtachocard.
Forinsurancepurposes,alldriversmusthaveheldtheirClass1licencefor12monthsorlonger.
Successfullycompleteadrivingassessmentwhichwillincludeatheorytest,practicaltest,anddrug&alcoholtest. xwzovoh
