EDM Technician

My Client seeks an ambitious EDM Technician to program and operate a variety of RoboCut EDM machines. Parts produced are for specialist equipment as well as high end scientific customers. Their company is evolving into a dynamic design and manufacturing business, offering extensive knowledge and services within the mechanical engineering industry, specializing, Prototyping, Rapid Tooling and High/Low quantity Production. They are a forward thinking progressive company with a modern office and factory serving some of the biggest consumer brands in the world with specialist food processing equipment. Key Skills ▪ Experienced of offline programming from models and drawings. ▪ Highly accurate and fast worker. ▪ Experience of machining a variety of metals ▪ Experience of high tolerance work ▪ Excellent attention to detail and takes pride in a clean and organisied work place producing high quality work. Hours of Work ▪ Basic week of 37 ½ Hours ▪ 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday ▪ 5 weeks holiday Remuneration ▪ Excellent Salary £35k to £48k basic ▪ Excellent working environment ▪ Bonus based on company performance (not contractual) ▪ Critical Illness cover ▪ Annual pay reviews ▪ Pension ▪ Plenty of overtime
