04th November, 2026HV Shift EngineerCanary Wharf60,000We have a brilliant opportunity for an HV Shift Engineer to work on a critical site based in Canary Wharf, offering the opportunity to in an established tea, data centre, receive high voltage training (If you have previously held HV) the offer of additional internal opportunities.You will be working a continental shift pattern, (Days and nights) and it is highly desirable for you to currently or previously have HV.As an HV Shift Engineer, you will ensure all PPM and reactive maintenance primarily on electrical systems, participate with site shutdowns / HV switching, ensure all critical plant is working efficiently, update site logbooks, actively fault find / troubleshoot and ensure the client is satisfied with the service providedHV Shift Engineer Duties:PPMs & Reactive maintenanceSingle and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS OperationCarry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.Organising subcontractorsCompleting logbooks and RAMSReportsPermits to workRaise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary. xwzovoh HV Shift Engineer Requirements:City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or higher in Electrical installations / Engineering Electrical regulations HV Trained5 years experience within building services Experience within critical environments / critical equipment Great M&E equipment knowledgeHV Shift Engineer Salary and Package:60,000 per annum Continental shift pattern (Day or night shift)Parking on site 20 days annual leaveOn-going training Overtime available Internal progression If you're interested in this HV Shift Engineer role, apply today!Posted by Luke Clark
