Quantity Surveyor

A great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor is now available to join a Glasgow based Construction Company specialising Commercial Fit Outs. You will be joining a company who work on projects of all sizes within sectors such as Healthcare, Bars/ Restaurants, Offices, Hotels, Education and more. You will be joining an experienced team who work to the highest of standards ensuring repeat business. Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. * Monitor project costs throughout the construction process. * Analyse tenders and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. * Conduct regular site visits. * Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions. * Prepare detailed reports on project costs, forecasts, and variances for senior management review. * Identify potential risks related to costs and develop mitigation strategies proactively. Experience Required: * Proven Quantity Surveying experience with the Construction/ Fit Out sector. * Minimum level of a HND in Quantity Surveying with at least 2 years working experience. * Strong knowledge of cost control techniques and financial management practices in construction projects. * Strong knowledge of cost control techniques and financial management practices in construction projects. * Strong knowledge of cost control techniques and financial management practices in construction projects.
