The Company We are currently collaborating with a main contractor & that has expertise in a wide range of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Educational, Health Authority and Leisure. Established over 30 years ago, the company now turnover in the region of £30 million and they have established a long track record of great performance within London and the Home Counties. They are ideally suited for construction works from planned maintenance to £7.5 million new build, refurbishment or fit out works. The Role our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of refurbishment and construction projects, including Grade II listed buildings, cut and carve refurbishments, and healthcare schemes, with project values typically ranging from £300,000 to £2 million. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor offering a varied project portfolio, a collaborative working environment, and long-term career progression. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Manage multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion * Oversee project teams to ensure works are delivered safely on time and within budget * Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors * Monitor programme performance, quality standards and commercial objectives * Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures * Support site teams with planning, resource allocation and problem-solving * Attend client meetings and provide regular project progress updates * Identify and manage project risks while ensuring successful project delivery
