MFL Teacher – Derby (QTS Required) Location: Derby Contract Type: Full-Time Start Date: Immediate Pay Rate: £130–£230 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities) Qualification: QTS required Experience: Minimum 6 months’ teaching experience in a UK secondary school Overview: Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected secondary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated MFL Teacher (French, Spanish, or German) for a position starting immediately. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Modern Foreign Languages educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5. Derby secondary schools offer modern language facilities, vibrant cultural enrichment opportunities, and a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver the KS3 & KS4 MFL curriculum, with KS5 teaching available if experienced in Derby. * Plan, prepare, and assess engaging language lessons tailored to diverse student abilities. * Monitor student progress and implement appropriate language interventions. * Contribute to MFL department improvement planning and cultural enrichment activities. * Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents’ evenings as required. The Ideal Candidate: * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). * Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching MFL experience in a UK secondary setting. * Is passionate about language education, global culture, and student achievement. * Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills. * Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life.
