BMS Mechanical / Electrical Specialist

A permanent opportunity has arisen for the post of Maintenance Specialist (BMS) based at Ninewells Hospital, with regular travel and work at other sites within Tayside.

Recognized and registered EITB or CITB (or equivalent) craft apprenticeship. Plus HNC/ ONC/ BTEC Electrical/Electronic Engineering or City and Guilds 236 Electrical Installation Work Part 2. Or City and Guild 232 Electrical and Electronic Craft Part 2. Or City and Guild 224 Electronic Servicing Part 2. Or Equivalent Approved Qualification, or in special circumstances equivalent experience. And Experience and Training, which will be appropriate to satisfy the necessary academic standards, required.

The post holder will act as a fully trained and certificated Maintenance Specialist (BMS) to provide maintenance services on all building management systems to meet the needs of the Estate service provision.

To install, repair and maintain BMS equipment within all properties of the Organization in order that the equipment can carry out its intended purpose safely, and to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all engineering systems within the built environment of the Organisation.

Participation in an out of hours on call rota are required.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Inductions standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
