About the role

Director of Event Sales - Luxury Lifestyle Hotel, Central London - up to £75,000

We have partnered with a fantastic five-star hotel in central London to appointment a Director of Event Sales.

The property offers an unusually broad range of event and private hire spaces, spanning restaurant, private lounge & boardroom, and further quirky unique events spaces.

The spaces are complete and trading. The commercial priority now is profile and conversion; establishing them with agencies, corporate bookers, brands and events clients, and lifting the rate at which enquiries convert to confirmed business.

The role

Reporting to the Director of Sales, and working alongside a wider segmented sales team:

  • Own and deliver the event sales target across the full estate
  • Sell proactively; outbound activity, network activation and direct approach
  • Drive conversion rates
  • Raise the property's profile across agency, corporate, brand and entertainment channels
  • Target product launches, after-parties, brand activations and entertainment-led events
  • Host showrounds and site visits, and represent the hotel at industry events and client entertaining

You

A strong existing network combined with a genuine willingness to sell proactively.

  • Experienced sales manager, ideally from a hotel/venue background with multiple spaces to sell
  • Experience in the luxury and lifestyle sector
  • Established network across agencies, brands, entertainment and private clients
  • Proven at improving conversion, not just generating enquiry
  • Strong communicator who works collaboratively across a close knit sales team

We are Sixty Eight People. Shaping hospitality leadership through expert and honest conversation.
