Location: Portadown
Salary: £27,000-£29,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

About the Role

Staffline Recruiment is currently recruiting for a Printer Technician on behalf of our client based in Portadown.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual with experience in printer installation, maintenance and repair. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring printers and related equipment are installed, maintained and operating efficiently, while providing a high standard of technical support to clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

As Printer Technician, your duties will include:

Installing and configuring printers across networks
Ensuring printers and related equipment are set up and functioning correctly
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Carrying out routine maintenance and servicing
Providing technical support to clients and team members
Replacing defective parts and ensuring printers are kept in optimal working order
Maintaining stock and inventory of printer supplies
Coordinating with vendors and suppliers when required
Documenting service requests, repairs and resolutions accurately
Ensuring clear communication with clients and colleagues throughout each service request

Essential Criteria

Applicants should have:

Previous experience in a printer technician, IT support, field service or similar technical role
Strong understanding of printer operations, set-up and maintenance
Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Good IT and networking knowledge
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Strong attention to detail when documenting service requests and repairs
