Stores & Kitting Operative Location: Bridgwater, Somerset Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm Salary: £12.71 per hour Type: Temp to Perm Key Responsibilities of a Stores & Kitting Operative: * Providing consumables and materials to production teams * Decanting and preparing parts ready for production * Carrying out regular stock takes and maintaining accurate stock records * Supporting the efficient operation of the stores and kitting function * Ensuring materials are available to meet production requirements * Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment * Assisting with general stores and warehouse duties as required Key Skills of a Stores & Kitting Operative: * Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, kitting or manufacturing environment * Good written English skills * Basic maths skills and attention to detail * Ability to work accurately and follow procedures * Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to work * Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude * Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training in other departments Benefits: * Early finish every Friday * Training and development opportunities * Potential future opportunity to move onto shift work * Long-term career development opportunities within the business
