Payroll Manager

Transaction Recruitment are supporting a market-leading business based in Lichfield, in their search for an experienced Payroll Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is a standalone role, taking full ownership of the payroll for c.800 employees. This position offers hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing the end-to-end payroll for c.800 employees, accurately and on time
* Managing starters, leavers and contractual changes, including variations to pay
* Calculating and processing overtime, statutory pay, bonuses and other additions and deductions
* Ensuring PAYE, National Insurance and other statutory deductions are applied correctly
* Handling HMRC submissions and year-end reporting
* Administering pensions auto-enrolment and benefit deductions
* Carrying out payroll reconciliations and checks, and producing reports for Finance
* Responding to employee payroll queries promptly and professionally
* Keeping up to date with legislative changes and maintaining accurate payroll records
