This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced youth workers, or education professionals looking to gain valuable classroom experience. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work, maintaining positive behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning during teacher absences. Key Responsibilities: Supervise lessons across a variety of secondary subjects using work set by teaching staff. Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies. Create a positive and productive learning environment. Support students with their learning and engagement throughout lessons. Report any issues or concerns to relevant school staff. Requirements: Previous experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, support work, or youth work setting. Strong behaviour management and communication skills. Confidence to lead a classroom independently. A flexible and professional approach. An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the DBS Update Service is ESSENTIAL for this role.
