Associate Project Manager – Events
About the role
Redwood is very excited to be partnering with an international scientific media publishing company that supports the continuous learning and development of cardiovascular healthcare professionals by providing high-quality educational content. They are looking to appoint a non-technical Associate Project Manager – Events (Virtual and On-Site) to support the creation and publication of educational programmes. This role will work as part of the projects team and will play a key part in shaping this dynamic, fast-evolving business. The role offers hybrid working with 2 days a week in their lovely Buckinghamshire offices.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone relatively early in their project management career who is ready to take on greater ownership of client delivery. The role will primarily support the delivery of industry-supported medical education programmes, including virtual events and webinars, on-demand learning programmes, and some on-site events.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of client-supported cardiovascular projects, events, and educational programmes from inception through to publication
- Organisation and management of educational content creation, typically filmed with leading physicians, including but not exclusive to interviews, webinars, symposia, round tables, and peer-to-peer discussions, filmed both virtually and on-site
- Planning and executing publishing projects to ensure they deliver the highest quality content within scope, brief, and budget
- Internal stakeholder management throughout the delivery phase, including but not exclusive to account managers, medical writers, and marketing, education, and digital media teams, to ensure the creation of best-in-class content for publication on both company and third-party websites
- Physician / key opinion leader management and liaison
- Client management throughout the delivery cycle to ensure transparency and adherence to project plans and operating procedures
What we are looking for:
- Around two years' experience working as an Events Coordinator / Associate Project Manager / Events Professional, ideally with a medical communications, events, publishing, or agency background
- First-class non-technical project management skills, with a proven xwzovoh track record of delivering several projects of varying complexity across the health education sector
- Educated to degree level or equivalent; a science-based subject is desirable but not essential
- Adept at developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to multitask and work on several complex client projects simultaneously
- Ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work to tight deadlines
- A self-motivated approach to work and a team-player mindset
