About the role
Were looking for an experienced and passionate individual to join our Womens Team as the Head of Goalkeeping. In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of our goalkeeper coaching philosophy, working closely with the NUW Head Coach and Womens Director of Football. Youll be responsible for shaping and implementing tailored training programmes, managing goalkeeper coaching staff, and supporting the development of goalkeepers across all age groups.
Your impact
You will bring a wealth of experience in goalkeeper coaching, with a deep understanding of modern trends in the game. Your ability to lead, mentor, and innovate will be key in:
- Designing and delivering high-quality, individualised training programmes.
- Managing and developing goalkeeper coaching staff.
- Integrating performance analysis and data into coaching strategies.
- Supporting recruitment and succession planning across the womens goalkeeping pathway.
- Monitoring and enhancing the performance of NUW First Team goalkeepers.
About the team
You will work within the Newcastle United Womens (NUW) coaching and performance team, collaborating with the Head Coach, Director of Football, Academy staff, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a unified and progressive approach to goalkeeper development.
Location
This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Please note, if you are not located in the Northeast and unable to relocate, we regret that we will not be able to progress your application.
