26th August, 2026Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, London, Financial Services  - 1650,000 - 180,000 + package We’re looking for an exceptional Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to take enterprise-wide ownership of the Group’s financial outlook, planning, performance and long-term value creation. This is a high-impact strategic leadership role, working closely with the Group Finance Director, CFO, CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board. You’ll play a key role in shaping financial strategy, capital allocation and investment decisions, while acting as a senior voice in determining the choices and trade-offs that drive Group performance.Key areas of accountability include:Owning the Group’s short, medium and long-term financial outlook, including 3–10+ year scenario planningLeading Group budgeting, forecasting and performance deliveryOwning capital allocation strategy, investment decisions and valuation outcomesDriving cost management, efficiency and enterprise transformationTurning financial data and insight into clear decisions and measurable valueOwning the financial narrative for Executive and Board reportingLeading the transformation of FP&A into a forward-looking, decision-owning functionBuilding and developing a high-performing FP&A team and leadership pipelineStrengthening financial governance, decision frameworks and accountability across the Group This is an opportunity for a senior, commercially minded finance leader who wants genuine enterprise influence and accountability—not simply to advise on decisions, but to own them and their outcomes.Experience Needed:Over 10 years experience in Group FP&A form a large, complex organisation – preferably listedA background in Banking, Insurance or other Financial Services is idealStrong leadership skills are essentialMust have experience in Finance Change and TransformationMust have strong MI and Data systems experience, Anaplan would be an advantageA brilliant relationship manager with the ability influence at the highest level If you’re an experienced FP&A, strategic finance or commercial finance leader with the breadth, judgement and influence to operate at Group/Board level, we’d love to hear from you.
